Fictional History on Television

Dear LJ Genie who knows every word of dialogue ever aired on television,

Okay, if I'm wrong, please let me know. However, I think my sister mixed up something she was trying to describe, something she dreamt, and something on a TV show, which we think was "How I Met Your Mother" and was probably one of Barney Stinson's explanations.

I can find the one about St. Valentine with "high v" in it from "Desperation Day."

However, she says that it was something about describing the priests or the clergy and how they could only read or write. Then, there was something or might have been something about crushing berries and writing on parchment. She's not sure if the term used was "medieval," "renaissance," or "middle ages."

This may have also been in another show that we watch.

A few are:

Rules of Engagement
Parenthood
Glee
Raising Hope
Mike and Molly
Two and a Half Men (we watched for the writing and the funny lines - love Chuck Lorre)
Mad Love
Traffic Light
Perfect Couples
Harry's Law
The Defenders
The Middle
Mr. Sunshine
Outsourced

It may have been from any of these shows or some Disney show. If so, she says it would be perfect for the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism).

However, I still think she is thinking of the thing with St. Valentine, something I told her not to tell me until I was done watching television, and a dream.
