It's once again time for that time of amazing silliness - the
ljdq answers time!
1. Fun with lyrics! Name the song:
Don't tell me the lights are shining
Anyplace but there
We will dance the "Hoochie-Koochie"
I will be your "Tootsie-Wootsie"
When my sister was in preschool, for her preschool graduation, she had to sing a song about fishes doing the Hoochie-Koochie dance. Fish live in water and the Mississippi River contains water. This water flows from Minnesota down to Louisiana. The first National ELCA Youth Gathering I attended was in New Orleans where the Mississippi ends. The next I attended was in St. Louis, MO and the Mississppi runs through St. Louis, so this song must be "Meet me in St. Louis."
2. What Russian city was named Leningrad until 1991?
L is for Leningrad, a city that has changed names several times. First it was St. Petersburg. Then it was St. Peter's City. Then it was changed back to Leningrad. Thank you sister's 2nd grade play. That means I was in 4th grade . . . which means it was 1991 or 1992.
3. Who is the current Welterweight Champion of the UFC?
I don't know anything about what the UFC is or who is in it. All I know is that it is now the WWE, but it used to be the WWF and I used to get cards with pandas on them and they said WWF, and I would wonder how a panda could possibly be a wrestler.
4. The character Simon Templar is more commonly referred to as whom?
Does this have anything to do with that movie or miniseries that was on NBC called The Last Templar? If it does, I wasn't interested in it. I found it boring and was not able to pay attention. I get an F.
5. Fun with quotes! Name that film:
"So now we got a huge guy theory, and a serial crusher theory. Top notch."
Just from what seems to be the theme of this quiz, because my NaNoWriMo buddies were talking about not being about to see "2" of this movie, I'm going to have to say, "Boondock Saints."
6. What's the nicest thing you've ever done?
I don't know. I'm generally a nice person, so I don't know how to rate niceness. On the other hand, I don't know how to rate evilness, either.
