"All Earth is Hopeful" reminds me of "No Golden Carriage!!!"
Today, this came into my mind. I was going to ask in my journal again (I'm pretty sure it's again, because I did ask on ljgenie and I usually post it in my journal as well.
"No ** palace, no warm bed, no ** pillow to lay His head"
The reason I usually want to sing it is because of the hymn "All Earth is Hopeful" and the very first line, "All Earth is Hopeful" sounds just like the beginning of this song and then it changes.
However, I decided I would search again and this time I found it!!! I am so excited!!! It's called "No Golden Carriage."
I sang this when I was in middle school when I was in Les Petites Voix. (Which I'm sure gave me a much better understanding of how to properly sing than joining any school choir. I actually know for a fact that it did. I've heard the school choirs singing and they'd get "superiors" on such horrible performances!)
Anyway, since I'm being so excited, I'll post the video that I found!
Of course, now there are a bunch of videos of this song. It seems like there was a surge in popularity for it last Christmas, so perhaps that's why I'm finding it now.

Anyway, awhile ago I won a three month membership on Pogo from the Subway scrabble game. They have these "game awards" called badges. You have to do certain things to get the badges. Anyway, they had two that anybody could do and one of them was to get par 50 times in a game called Golf Solitaire. Because golf uses the terms "birdie" and "eagle," they were silly when they would show the scores and would put different birds, and, one, uh, quite different thing at the top of the score card. Here are the things that I'd be shown
"ostrich, albatross, condor, holy cow"
I honestly don't think any one of those four are actually golf terms. Also, why do people yell "fore" when swining a golf club? What's the origin of using the word "fore?" I've never looked up information on that. It would be interesting to know.
