A Maine Coonhound. I really did read that phrase. I'm not joking about that at all.
However, people don't have them!
APRIL FOOLS!
Now, no more fooling.
I did read the phrase. It was because Dogster got in on the AprilFools and said scientist were able to breed a hybrid of a dog and a cat. They just called it a puppycat, though. That was a huge tipoff if anybody hadn't already figured out it was an April Fool's joke. I figured it out from reading the subject line in my e-mail.
Briana fooled me this morning. I was sleeping and I had no idea that she had taken out a frozen sausage link. So, I was laying in bed and it felt like Woofles's cold paw like when he comes and walks on me after he's been outside. It was a cold link of breakfast sausage! She was trying for a dog nose, which it didn't feel like that, but it did feel like the cold paw!
I am not participating in Script Frenzy, though I thought about it. Instead, I am doing something much simpler and participating in the
Poem A Day (PAD) Challenge. Anybody else going to participate?
The challenge is to write a poem every day in April based off of the prompt given and then post it in the comments section of that prompt. You are allowed to catch up if you get behind.
I figure that this'll give me some more poetry writing that I feel that I need to get done. I like writing poetry, but I just get so busy with things that sometimes I don't end up writing as much as I'd like.
