IHOP sauces being mixed with syrup . . .

Briana was watching "My Life as a Teenage Robot" this morning, so now, there's a new "annoying" song.

This is the song that goes on forever
We will finish singing it never
'cause here we go again

This goes with the song that was at the end of Lamb Chop's Play Along.

This is the song that never ends
Yes, it goes on and on my friends
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was
And they'll continue singing it forever just because . . .

Which, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it is a take off of that. The Lamb Chop's one has a catchier tune.

However, it's not the first song like that. I've known of one for quite awhile that is from one of those Silly Song books and my mom had that book when she was young.

I know a song that annoys everyone, annoys everyone, annoys, everyone
I know a song that annoy everyone and this is how it goes

Of course, as my dad always said, it's really not annoying when people sing it on tune - which my sister and I always did being we were in choirs so many times and knew how to sing on tune, or at least, quickly get on tune as long as one person knew the tune.

So, us singing was never really annoying.

Yeah, anyway, Briana wanted to spend time with me and go out to eat. She finally decided on going to IHOP. She got the appetizer platter as a meal and I got the Viva La French Toast Combo. That was quite good as it was a filling meal, but not so huge - french toast, eggs, and two links of sausage - which is much better than when they serve a meal and serve two pancakes with it.

We had some "interesting" conversations.

We talked about how we liked Nannerpus from the Denny's commercials and that we were sad that we did not have Denny's. Then, even if we did, that we think Denny's should serve Nannerpus, but she said an employee at a Denny's somewhere told her that they don't serve Nannerpus.

I then said that I wondered what Denny's would do if IHOP started serving Nannerpus as after all, they do have the fruit on the pancakes to make the face. I think it'd be great if IHOP started serving Nannerpus. Would Denny's sue or would they just try to counter by also serving Nannerpus?

Briana brought up when I said that IHOP has really good eggs, but IHOE just doesn't cut it.

I was being silly and asked Briana if she wanted any syrup on her fries. However, I didn't do anything. It was just a question and when she said "no," I simply said, "Oh, okay. I just wanted to know."

Then she asked if I wanted any sauce in my syrup. I said that I wasn't eating it, so I didn't care.

After I had finished my food, but Briana was still eating, she was being silly. I had a plate full of syrup from what was left over from eating my French toast. Briana's appetizer platter is served with different sauces - marinara, honey mustard, and ranch - for dipping the different items.

She dumped all the sauces on top of the plate of syrup and then she mixed them together. I commented that it looked somewhat like Cane's sauce, but a little bit darker. I then said that it's obviously not Cane's sauce and that many former employee's say that it is just ketchup and mayonnaise and maybe a bit of pepper all stirred together, but it tastes like there is something else because that doesn't sound too bad and we don't like Cane's sauce at all.

I then looked at the plate and wondered about the taste and Briana stuck the very tip of her finger on top and tasted it. I asked her if it tasted bad and she just shrugged.

So, then I did the same.

The taste? Well, it was odd, but not the worst thing. I could actually see someone really liking that. It was too spicy for me and, really, the spiciness on my tongue was the worst sensation rather than the full taste.

After Briana tried dipping a fry in it, so did I, and it was the same experience.

I won't be eating it again, but it was interesting.

We then went to Best Buy and Briana got some tech stuff that she's wanted for awhile.
