Dr. Seuss books and an odd weekend
Briana is at an SCA event for the weekend. It's been odd enough without my dad and having to get ready to be moving to our house (the people who are going to pack and move us come on Tuesday morning to start packing). So, just my mom and I makes it really weird. It's nice in one way and very odd in another.
When my Daddy was alive, the occasional "girl's night in" was fun. Now, it's just us girls and it gets boring. I'll be glad when a certain someone gets to come home from a work assignment.
I've also realized, well, and known, that I have very good friends that care about me. It was sad reading how people abandon others when parents die. My friends were there for me. They did not leave me and start complaining about minor little things. They let me talk if I needed to talk, and they still do that.
