As if that's anything new to me.

I dreamt I was driving to my grandmother's house and my mom was waiting there for me too. I was pretty close to getting there when I saw a massive funnel cloud. I thought to call my mom and my grandmother and warn them, since it seemed like it might hit their area. But I became worried for my own safety when I saw the funnel start to come down from the cloud.

So I turned around. I wasn't sure I'd be able to drive by it fast enough to miss it. Its hard to outrun a tornado, I remembered that.

I didn't really know where to go. Where was appropriate. I think I'd have the same dilemma now. I'd just keep driving until I thought I was safe or something. Given how this tornado was just now forming, and how I was on a pretty much deserted road, it probably would've worked. But of course this is a dream and nothing really works in a dream. At least not for me.

So as I'm driving in the other direction, I see ANOTHER tornado, except this one has already touched down and is majorly wrecking havoc. And this one was WAY too close for comfort. Like I look over to the right and there it is. It was close enough that if this was a real dream, I'd severely be in danger.

As you can imagine, this phenomenon is pretty rare. I've never actually heard of two tornadoes forming that close at the same time (I mean literally right down the road? Come on) unless they're sisters but they would be from the same wall cloud in that case. There can however, be tornadoes that form one after another and hit the same area. One extreme and saddening example is a man who was severely injured from one tornado died a half hour later when the shelter they were getting him help in got hit by another tornado.

Anyway, so here I was, trapped between two tornadoes. What the hell do I do now. I was pretty scared in this dream. I can actually partially remember how scared I was in this dream. I considered picking up the phone and calling my mom to say goodbye because I really thought I was going to die. This was it. There was no way I was going to escape two tornadoes.

Somehow I then was on foot. I guess I decided it was best to pull over and seek some kind of shelter. I looked around desperately looking for a place to go. Suddenly the open fields area I was in turned into an area of houses, and I knocked on a door frantically, hoping they would let me in. Someone opened up, and I told them there were tornadoes coming and we needed to get shelter.

These people somehow conveniently had a storm shelter built in the middle of their house. So they opened it up and we crawled in. My father popped up randomly in the dream and we tried to get him in too. Because of his disability, he couldn't move fast enough and so I held his hand as the tornado hit around us. The shelter we were in then shifted shape and he was standing partially below ground when it hit and so he was okay.

Damage was pretty minimum. I had left my purse upstairs opened and so my phone blew away. It pretty much just knocked some stuff over and that was it.

It was much less damage than usually happens in my dreams. In fact we didn't even feel it. I've had dreams where I literally have to hold onto things to keep from being sucked around in the tornado. I seem to have a lot of tornado dreams. I don't know if this is because I have such a fascination with them, or if I truly fear them and just don't know it yet because I've never really faced one.

Later I dreamt I was in a bowling alley and the guy behind the counter was being rude and I told him I would be calling the manager on Monday about him. It reminded me of some things that used to happen at bowling back when I was in high school. The people were never rude, but a couple things went on that I never did understand. We didn't know you couldn't share a game with someone, for instance. We'd pay for the lane and someone might share a round because we either had one extra person or people were trying to save money. (So like if the lane is four player and we had five people, two people might act as one person). Well we legitimately didn't realize that wasn't allowed at first. And if they saw you, they would just turn your game off entirely. And no one would come up to you and warn you or let you know what was going on. So you had to go up to the counter to ask. I don't remember if they ever actually would turn you back on or not if you explained you didn't know. But I remember not understanding why the hell they did that. We didn't get anything extra out of it. If it was a four player max set up game, and they still got money for that, what was the problem? Two people were just playing as that one player. Its not like we paid for three players and someone was using that extra player game.

And in the end, seriously, just come up and tell us to stop. We weren't troublemakers. We were just a bunch of teenaged kids trying to enjoy some bowling even though most of us sucked at it. Just come over and let us know. Give us a warning.

They seemed to have an issue with anything. You had to rent their shoes, and later on they made you buy socks too (Yeah, you HAD to buy socks. Even if you had some). You had to do this and that. They would somehow even see you if you were down all the way at the other end. It seemed pretty petty and ridiculous.
