Just felt like informing the world, it's weird there's no rhyme or reason to this, I'm just happy.
[That isn't the first sign of impending insanity is it?]
Speaking of, I'd like to recommend,Batman and Philosophy: The Dark Knight of the Soul
A wonderful book which no summery of mine will cover.
It takes a serious, non watered down look at mentality, ideals, philosophy and the individual perception of the world:
Through a character study of Batman.
This isn't a gimmick, this is a book written by highly educated men with a real love of the Batman
It's that element that makes the book shine.
Bruce Wayne's life and mind are discussed with such respect that, by the time you end the first chapter, the cowl is gone, and you feel you're reading a personal evaluation of someone you know.
So, to close this statement, I'll leave quote from the Batman graphic novel:
It may not be possible to define the Joker as insane.
It's quite possible that we may actually be looking at some kind of super-sanity here A brilliant new modification of human perception, more suited to urban life at the end of the twentieth century...Unlike you and I, the Joker seems to have no control over sensory information he's reciving from the outside world...
He can only cope with that chotic barrage of input by going with the flow.. He has no real personality...
He creates himself each day.
He sees himself as the lord of misrule, and the world as a theater of the absurd.
