I moved, BTW!
So it's been a little while since I posted anything. This phrase should probably just automatically precede my posts, since I normally end up neglecting this journal for a few months at a time.
The big news: I've moved just outside of downtown. I'm now closer to work, near Pape Station, and I moved in with my lovely girlfriend Lindsey. We scored a really sweet basement apartment that is absolutely enormous. We have an enormous living room slash kitchen, a nice sized craft/geekery room, a perfectly sized bedroom and then a bathroom, and a ridiculous number of closest to store stuff in. (Which is very awesome!)
There is also Edith, Lindsey's cat -- this is important to note, as I do have friends with allergies, and it does explain the cat hair on a lot of everything I own now. :P
Work as of late has been... mixed. There's a lot to do, but not a lot being done. We spend most of our time, it seems, assembling proposals and solving problems for projects that get shot down or loose funding or perhaps get made stupid by the CBC. (FYI: The CBC has some really REALLY stupid ideas for what makes a good game. PBS, also a little alarming. But I guess that's why they're in TELEVISION. Stupid old media grouches.)
Regardless, I'm doing pretty well. I've been trying to put together Christmas gifts. I've got a few good ideas, but I'm not sure what I'm doing for everyone yet. I'm told 'sexual favors' is generally frowned upon.
For those in Ottawa; I should be in town for the 28th, and there until at least the 4th. So... Rejoice! :D
And I think I'm done for now.
