It's been a while since I've managed to spur quite a reaction like that. Rather than clutter and try to sort out the remaining unanswered comments, I figgured it'd be easier to consolidate my position here in a fresh post

*laughs* My ramblyness is more a sign of a disorganised mind than anything else. The more time I have to construct an argument, the shorter and shorter it gets, as it becomes more organised and to the point. When writing a 20-page paper, my first draft is usually about 30 pages, and then I just edit and edit (without ostensibly trying to reduce size) and it magically comes down to 20 pages.

My disorganised mind is also why I often write in huge sentences. I have so much information that I want to get down and seems connected that I try to do it all at once.

My disorganised mind also helps, though. Because of it, I often make connections between things that others don't see right away.

Also, I forgot my cell phone @ my parents. Call me at home (613-523-4206) if you need me. I have a birthday party to attend Saturday morning (lydia_lynch is turning 3!) which should last until about 1. I'm hoping to be home by 2, and I have a little bit of cleaning to do, so why don't you call me about 2:45 to specify a time we should meet? If I'm not home, I'm still at the party; leave your number on the answering machine and I'll call you when I get back.
