Children these days are quite amusing...and annoying.
Okay, so like, I'm on a three-way phone call with Niki and Justin about cosplay stuff and everybody being Naruto characters (I'll go into detail later, it's friggin' crazy) But yeah, so I'm on the phone in my backyard, and someone comes outside and tells me that the cat got out. Now I haven't written about this yet in my journal about the case of my missing cats...so I'll give details now.
About a week ago, my female cat went missing. We still haven't found her. No idea or clue as to where she went either. Just vanished. Then a few days later, her oldest son went missing for a little over 24 hours. When he finally came home, he was starving, panting like crazy..like he was dehydrated or something. First we suspected our neighbors, who have already voiced a beef with our cats, and have been known to throw water, dirt, rocks, etc at them.
Try as we may to keep him from going outside, he slipped out the other night and disappeared again for a day. Came back the next night with the same appetite and stuff. So now we're wondering if somebody likes him and wants to keep him for himself (and he keeps going back because his mom's there too). 'tis a possibility, ne?
Anywho, he got outside again tonight, and me and my sister go out looking for him. She said he ran out across the street towards the mountains, so we head out that way, and my neighbors grandkids(? Not sure) follow us out there. Now to me, they appeared to be in the age group of 11-13. Definitely 13 at the most. Well, the older of the two starts trying to talk to me.(Remember now, I'm still on the phone with Niki and Justin) He starts asking questions:
Annoying Kid: "What's you name?" (xD)
Mango: "Eh..huh? Oh, uh..Katie. o.O"
Mango keeps walking, annoying kid and what appears to be silent brother follow behind.
Annoying Kid: "How old is you, Katie?"
Mango: "Uh..17. Why?"
Annoying Kid: "17 huh? I'm 16. What grade is you in?"
Mango: "I'm graduating in December."
Annoying: "What?" -Why he answers with 'What?' is beyond me...shows how smart he is. "What grade is you in, Katie?"
Mango: "Well, if I'm graduating, must mean I'm a senior."
Mango continues phone conversation 'cause Niki is all 'wtf' at her. xD
Annoying Kid: "You gots pretty hair, Katie."
Mango: "Uh..thanks..I guess."
Annoying Kid then says some other stuff Mango doesn't hear because she's still talking on the phone and trying to follow her sister who is much further ahead.
Annoying Kid: "You got a man, Katie?"
Mango continues talking on the phone. Meanwhile, Annoying Kid tries to put his arm around Mango...
Mango: "!?!?!?!?!"
Mango thwacks Annoying Kid's arm back and hits him across the chest with her extended arm. Annoying Kid appears surprised. Silent Brother looks on in shock.
Annoying Kid: "What, you think I'm a kid?"
Mango: "Sure do."
Annoying Kid: "I ain't no kid!"
Mango: "Okay."
Mango rejoins her sister and continues walking. Annoying Kid and Silent Brother linger behind, not daring to venture further into the mountainous terrain.
Little Sister: "Those boys are weird."
Mango nods.
Mango: "We'll take the long route back and avoid them."
As the fearless Mango and her sister travel further in their search for their Neko, the mango continues phone conversation with her Justy all the way home...after a long detour up around the houses on Carlisle and down the street, across Rancherias, down an Alley, and into the front door.
The End
Gawd was that annoying. I was soo regretting not bringing my bokken with me ;-; I was going to, too. 'cept I was on the phone, and figured I ought to leave one hand free incase I had to bring the cat home. Oh well. Now I know not to leave home without it. xDDD
Oh, and these events sparked the creation of this:
'cause yeah, today totally reminded me of that scene with Sakura and Lee blowing kisses xD
Anywho, 'tis late, and I need to make an appearance in Yearbook tomorrow, which is supposed to be 2nd period, so I must get up early and stuff >.> YEARBOOK NOOBS, HERE I COME!
