I had to run home to let the two little dogs outside since mom and Larry had to go to Tuskegee for a doc's appointment. All went well, they did their business and agreeably went back inside so I could heat up something for lunch before having to run back. When I finally got back on my way to work I turned onto a busy street and was in the process of switching lanes before I had to swerve back over. Why? Because a baby decided to toddle its little way on down the driveway and into the street. When I looked in the rear-view I saw someone snatching it up and heard the woman screaming at the kid.
The sad thing is I'm pretty sure that house has a fenced in yard with a gate that was wide open.
