Seriously, it's been a while, ne? Sorry about that... ^^;;
So, updates, updates, updates... >.>... <.<... Well, I survived my first ever real hurricane. ^___^ Man-yi came and hit us, and while she's still raining like a bitch on us, she took her 145mph winds up to Tokyo without a fuss, and left in time for them to let us out of lockdown so I could go and see the premier of HP5 out in the Japanese theater. ^___^ Score for victory, that one. *sagely nod*
Yeah, so, Cat4 typhoon gone, I'm alive, I just saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, I cried, a lot, even just at the forshadowing, but at least I don't feel so damn depressed like I did after reading it in the book... >.>... Might still end up drawing horribly sad and depressing pictures, but we all know that's just what I always draw, ne? ^^;;;

Well, I'm getting stuff done to my wrist... Maybe... Physical therapy didn't help, so now they're sending me to orthopedics, and they'll decide wether to start injecting steroids directly into my tendons or if they wanna do surgery... Not really looking forward to either solution, myself... I'll find out on Monday what they think will be best... >.>... *sighs* All before my yearly PT eval, too... Great timing, ne? ^^;;;
Anou... What else... Well, before I was forbidden to draw a lot, I finished up the first chapter of my comic, Crossroads. I re-wrote it, a lot, so it's different than what I had originally done way back in Freshman year... But, I'm actually really happy with how it's going, and can't wait to be able to draw on it and make weekly updates, again. ^_____^ If you're curious, it's on my deviantArt account (http://kageno-tenshi.deviantart.com/) along with American Magic, the story I'm writing, and a lot of my newer artwork. ^____^
Speaking of American Magic, I'm almost done with chapter 6, so be expecting that, soonish. I'm busy writing my short story for Creative Writing class, so even though I really wanna focus on it, I haven't yet given it it's due.
And, I was scanning in a shit load of my old artwork from high school, last night, and found almost 30 sketches I had done for The Lost Ones, the one with Dillan and Puck, and now I'm itching to do something concrete with that... >.>... I don't know, that's probably something that'll be put to the back of my mind for a little bit longer... But, the thought's coming back to me... Hell, it never really left, did it. ^^;;;
And, this creative writing class I'm taking has reminded me just how much I love writing. I think, if I don't end up working with the government for the rest of my life or some buisness tycoon in China,I think I really want to do something with writing, or editing, or producing, or something like that. I know it's really impractical to just say "I want to!" but it's only a background desire, anyways. It's just that, I really enjoy helping all the people in my class do better with their writings, and I'm pretty damn good at it, too, speaking from a purely objective stand point...>.>...
I enjoy writing, of course, but I think it's more practical to be an editor, anyways, ne? I can always find work with a real newspaper, somewhere, or even a magazine, or something. Probably not as an editor, to begin with. For starters, I'm an Asian Studies major, and they don't offer a Lit minor or major in my college, anyways, so I'm kinda stuck... >.>.. Weird, that I'd be stuck cuz I -don't- have a lit major. I've always been told that a lit major would be what got me stuck, not the other way around. How ironic. O.o...
Oh! And, I've put in paperwork to stay here for two more years, so until 2010. My squadron commander approved it, so now I'm just waiting on the Air Force to ok it, which more than likely they will, cuz it means one less person they have to pay for a plane ticket back to the states not to mention moving their house back to the states, too. Not that I have one, but I do own a -lot- of books... >.>... Yeah, so... I should be coming home to visit in 2008, at some point, probably Christmas... But, until then, I'll keep y'all in my hearts and send y'all all the Japanese crap I can get my hands on. Just give me a request and your address, and I'll do what I can, ne? ^_^ Of course, this means that before 2010 I -should- theorhetically be living off base and have plenty of room for people to crash. So, I'll let y'all know, and you can have a cheap place to stay if you come to Okinawa. Ne? ^________^
In any case, yeah... I don't really have much to talk about. Work is work, the dorms suck balls, it's raining, and Harry Potter ROCKS. If any of you "I live in the US and so can get the book the day it comes out" people so much as mention anything about what color -shirt- he's wearing, I swear I'll reach through the screen and strangle you. Or glare at you. Which does sound more like me, now that I think about it... >.>....
