Boxes (preferably pretty ones) with compartments
I just really love things with lots of compartments, especially with varied ones for different uses. I could really use a box for accessories (ties, wristbands, gloves, chains, and so on are getting out of hand), but compartmented boxes in general make me really happy, so.
Borders gift cards
Because I love good books and music.
Music
I have a wish list of CDs that I haven't bought for myself yet:
- Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded
- Jesse McCartney - Right Where You Want Me (the poster from this is pretty, too, haha)
- Maybe Metro Station/Jordin Sparks?
- Boy band CDs are nice, too. I have a few BSB/Savage Garden, but nothing by 98 Degrees and so on. I can't remember half the songs I liked when I was younger, but these rarely get old for me.
Books
Unfortunately, I am picky about covers/editions.
- Lirael by Garth Nix (this cover, the current one in Borders). I dropped my copy in the bathtub. :[
- His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman--the trilogy is The Golden Compass (Northern Lights in the UK), The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass. I wanted this edition, but it may be out of print by now. :[ That was the edition I first read.
But the UK Junior Editions from Scholastic are really pretty, too. This is a trilogy I've loved forever, though, and I'm willing to wait to get an edition I like.
Posters of Beautiful Males
Because I want beautiful guys pinned to my walls. This only works if you know--my tastes aren't very typical, apparently.
Ties
Especially ones with neat designs and that could potentially be pretty versatile.
Black Fingerless Gloves
Especially leather, 'cause...'cause.
Anything useful that's also really cool/pretty/well-designed
Because chances are I wouldn't spend the money to buy things like this for myself, but I'd definitely use them. Like neat-shaped glasses, that towel I have that wraps around and holds so you don't have to tie it, pretty dishware and tea cups, so on.
Okay there you go, have fun. And this is late, so whatever and who cares.
I like food and company most, I think. Lists aren't always great to run from anyway, but they certainly help a lot.
Anyway, I expect lists back. I'm having enough of a hellhole trying to figure out good gifts for people, so.
