Ahaha, I don't have enough money!

Seren, I need to catch you on AIM or through e-mail Done and Done.

Aaand, then other Otakon stuff. This is about money, what I'm buying, and random crap. So the first part you can be like 'Holy shit this bastard's greedy!' but after that, blah.

Le Chevalier D'Eon 1 + Artbox, 2-4 (45?, 30 each)
Kannazuki no Mike 2-3 [Or the Boxset](30 each)
Haruhi Special LE 1 + 2 [Or the regulars as I am poor] (50, 30 each)
Slayers Movie Thinpack (80? I forgot =_=)
Shakugan no Shana ALL (30 each)
Ergo Proxy ALL (30 each)

Monster 9 (10)
Zombie Powder 4 (10, or is it SJ?)
Welcome to the NHK 3 (10)
Basilisk 5 (14)
Yakitate! Japan 5-6 (10)
Death Note 7, 12 (8) [Don't ask how/why I skipped 7]
Black Cat 9 (10)
ES 6 (11) [Eternal Sabbath]
Genshiken 10 (11)
TsubaChron 13-14 (11)
Gintama 1~ (8?)
Nodame Cantabile 10 (11)
Karin 5 (10)
Loveless 6 (10)
Peacemaker 1 (10)
Twelve Kingdoms Novel (??)

I shouldn't even count up how much that would all add up to retail, cus it makes me cry. But I'm going to anyway.

515 for the DVDs [assuming there are 6 of Ergo Proxy]
162 for manga
That's more than my supposed Budget for the entire con, woooo....
Bold for all the things I MUST have, mwahahha.
195 for must have DVDs
98 for must have manga

I'm still too poor for that. Assuming I work 10 hours over the weekend, I can get all that manga without actually paying money. And since I get 30% off for all cash perchases, that brings the dvd total down to 136.50 Not to bad, really.

That being said, since I DO get a percent off, and assuming Mike allows me, I can take orders for anyone if they want manga/anime for the 30% off price, as usually they don't go lower than 25% off at most booths. But only the expensive ones or if you only have a few you want. =_= I don't want to get him mad...

And if I do work with Mike a lot, I might end up going 'Full time' and get free hotel and food, and that means I'd be going to a LOT more conventions, even if I have to work. I think he said I still get the credits, too, and my percent off, and that's a winning situation if you ask me, especially since it's like getting paid 10 dollars an hour and that's more than I make at my regular job.

I've gome up with some slightly decent ways to pay for this. Using my credit card, using my savings, or just not buying anything ANYWAY and only buying food like I did for AMA. The smart way is to not buy anything. 8D But pshaw. I'll at least get the manga I want, if none of the DVDs... and I keep on PUTTING OFF getting the commissions of my characters every year and damnit I'm going to do it this year.

To do this, I need to have a current version of every character I want drawn's head shot, which means I better start drawing, damnit. That's almost 10 characters, if not that number. At five bucks per character that's already 50, and inking might make it 70 or so. Screw coloring for now. I just have to find a style I like. I want a commission of my characters! I wouldn't need it if I could color worth shit........ or got off my lazy ass and did it anyway.

Anyway, if I put my part of the room on my credit card and kept the cash, I would have money and not have to worry about if the dealer's wanted to pay the fucking 500 bucks for a credit line. And if I had money left over 'which I fucking better if I want to eat for the next few months' I can put it back on my card and pay it down to managable levels. I did that last year as well. Much easier with cash. ::siiiiiighs:: I need to just save up for Ota, but whenever I do, I got hit with car trouble or some other random expense and all the money was gone. Bah...

Gah. What a waste of an entry. I really hope no one read this............... and, ahaha, Spell check? What's that?

blah, manga, rant, con, otakon, kicking my ass, life, anime
