Damn you and Mona for getting me intrigued by this series...

Nooooo! Go Ryuuki!!

Not that his brother isn't a total dish in his own right, though...

*using Hotohori icon since it's the closest she has*

SQUUUUUEEEEEEE SEIRAN!!!!!!

"With the rain pelting him, Seiran ploughed forward pushing his hair out of his eyes. As wet as he was, there was no point in hurrying. "

Omg. that image. TOTALLY HAWT. Makes me want to get all 9 1'2weeks with him. heh-heh.

Poor Seiran. I would sooo love him to end up with SHuurei..but, i think her fate is destined with Ryuuki. *sighs*

Yay! That was wonderful. So, I'm ok at editing? (I was a little worried about it) I loved this portion... when will my Japanese be good enough to read on my own?! It'll take me years to get to a point where I can read novels and it makes me sad. Well, I just need to keep plugging away, yes?

mrs_urahara June 9 2006, 13:25:07 UTC
yep. i know how you feel. Keep pluggin away. that's what i am doing. I keep practicing and practicing. And, my friend Yukiko, has met several people who are completely fluent in japanese (and for her to say their japanese is perfect is huge), who have NEVER laid a foot in the country. It is possible. ^___^

I am right there with you...keep on keepin on!

I think it's simply the fact that Japanese is my first non-indoeuropean language and it's language number nine and I'm a Latin teacher, so I want what all my students want... but the fact of the matter is that although I started two years ago, I've had little time until about three weeks ago to start being thorough about it!

wow. You are fluent in 9 languages???? holy mamma. That's incredible! you are giving me hope. I USED to be fluent in german and portuguese (dad is brazilian)...I can STILL completely understand portuguese..my german is TERRIBLE. It's such a shame.

My own personal goals are to master japanese, then portuguese again (i know that won't take too long..seeing as the comprehension is no problem), then chinese. and, if the heavens above allow me to even get those three in..then i would love to know russian. i just love the sound.

that's cool that you teach latin, which is probably why you are fluent in most of the european languages. ^____^

*sigh* What beautiful imagery ... the scene of Seiran in the rain...

Hmm ... so how many people actually know about Seiran's identity? O_O It seems that many of them get an idea once they see his sword fighting style... (So much for keeping his identity secret...)

And it's always refreshing to see Ensei and Seiran's interaction - Ensei can read Seiran so well (but then again, I think it's pretty obvious how Seiran feels about Shuurei ... does Shuurei have any idea?)...

Gah, I so wish I could read those novels!!! Unfortunately my Japanese is nowhere near good enough! T_T

Quite a number of people seem to know who Seiran is actually. ^^;

Obviously Ryuuki, Shuuei, Kouyuu, Shouka, Shou Taishi, Sou Taifu, and Haku and Koku Daishoguns. Of the others we find out that Reishin, Kurou, Sakujun, Shoukun (Shuurei's mother) all know while Sai Shou seems to realise something, possibly putting the pieces together.

Sadly, Shuurei seems to have no idea about the full extent of Seiran's feelings for her. >_<;

I hope this isn't too stupid of a question, but who are Sakujun and Sai Shou?

Sadly, Shuurei seems to have no idea about the full extent of Seiran's feelings for her.

*sigh* That makes me sad too. ='( (Poor Seiran.)
