Hakushaku to Yousei vol 1 cont.

Hrmm... I wonder if I should've just re-translated this instead of trying to work with what I'd written earlier. >.> I was apparently in one of those 'pulling teeth' moods when I started this. ^^; Ah well. The usual disclaimers etc., etc.

I think an additional ten minutes with Edgar would've been very bad for Lydia, and shame on Ermine for having a dirty mind!

I tried one or two HtY fanfics and quickly gave it up as a lost cause. It's not just you. I don't know why, but some fandoms attract a higher percentage of quality writers while others attract the grammarless, clueless wannabes. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind the difference.

I can't take time right now to read the full translation. I'll come back later and read it more thoroughly. Definitely looks interesting so far!

I came back and read like I promised. Lydia sure does babble a lot when she's nervous, doesn't she? Edgar's delight at leading the brownies out of the room was stronger here and more enchanting than in the anime. He seemed childlike (in a good sense), like he was discovering hidden gifts or something. It was quite sweet. Thank you for translating this. I had been missing HtY lately.

Waaa, thanks a lot for your work! Is amazing >.< I love the anime and the manga of Haku, and I wanted to read the novels.
Thanks!

*sigh* Has it ever occurred to you that bothering someone for their translations shortly after they've had to deal with two separate instances of translation /post theft might not be the best time to do so? If you're that keen on dealing with bitchy!Shadow, then believe me when I say she'll be more than happy to give you an answer. Otherwise, you might want to give Shadow a little more space and time to be able to interact with people in a civil manner.
