So much has happened that I don't even know where to start or when to start.
Soccer season made a well awaited ending. We lost to Shen in sectionals, but were doing well for a majority of the game. We had a final practice to play team ball and hand in our uniforms. It was fun, but I arrived late. Last night was the banquette. Although I absolutely love the sport, I hate playing it everyday. I guess I could compare it to school. the first day is always exciting. You get to see your friends and meet your teachers, but once the introduction days have concluded, you're back to learning and homework. Soccer is fun in the beginning and the anticipation for the first game overwhelms you, but once you get into November and you are still playing, you just want it to end.
On my birthday I went out to dinner with the family. We went to Red Lobster, because I love seafood. I also finally received a long awaited call from Matt. Thank god he called. I made Blackwatch again.
Last Thursday my dad picked me up after school and I went to the Albany DMV. I got my permit. I missed one really easy question and got another one wrong. Two wrong, not bad. I started driving around my development to get the feel for the car. I still can't back-up yet. Last night on the way to the banquette, I started to drive, but once I got to Pine Bush Elementary, I pulled over and told my dad to drive. The he told me I had to drive home. So I drove home in the dark on a road with other cars for my first time. Oh, and I'm still alive. I surprised myself.
On Wednesday night was the concert. I never realized how long they actually are. I am usually participating during the whole concert. This year they started to do this really stupid thing where the choirs, bands and orchestras are paired together. I don't know. It's hard to explain, but I still think it's a dumb idea. I have to go again next Wednesday for band. I am doing an accompaniment for Mrs. Cassellini's women's choir with Erika. I am so nervous.
After the concert I went to Delansen with Amy and Erika to spend the night at Amy's house. We saw Sweet Home Alabama. I never saw it before. I guess it was cute. We stayed up late and then the next morning we woke up at like 11:30. My dad picked us up and brought us all back to Guilderland.
I've been thinking of new words. For AP English we have to make up two words, write a definition and then put them into sentences to show how they would be used. Sounds easy. Only problem is, it isn't. I've drawn a complete imagination blank and can't think of any words. The class is then going to vote on the best word out of everyone in the class. We will then have to try and make that word become a word that will one day be found in the dictionary. Once we decide on a word, I'll post it. Try to use it as much as possible. Thanks!
I deleted my last entry, because too many people were asking me about it and I feel as though some read too deep into my point
