Kage is looking for his mates. Val is babysitting, escorting the kids to their Grandmother's place so they can deliver their gifts, and he's spent hours preparing a few surprises for Cassie and Hyou.

Wandering through his house, muttering under his breath in a sort of sing-song fashion, "Come out, come out, wherever you are.."

Casciel is always the easiest one to find. She's usually in her office, that incredible mind unraveling one business problem after another. She's in there now, wearing a little sweater over slacks and a shirt. "Hi."

[kage_himoto]

"Hello there, Beautiful. Do you think you could tear yourself away for the day? It's a holiday, you know."

"And I don't suppose you know where the Kitten is, so you?"

[casciel]

"I... suppose." She raises a brow. They never did much for VD before.. "Napping, I do believe. There's a sunbeam somewhere.'

[kage_himoto]

He takes her hand and pulls her up from the chair, kissing first her palm, then pulling her closer. The kiss that follows is slow, almost lazy, for Kage, and very, very warm.

After several minutes, he pulls away, leaving a final set of teasing nibbles at her lips. "Then I suppose we should go find this sunbeam, and our better third." Pause. "There are gifts."

[casciel]

She lifts her eyebrows. "Why are there gifts?" Not that she minds. At all.

"What did you get me?"

[kage_himoto]

"Because it's traditional to get those you love gifts today, and I have Plans."

"Its a surprise. Surprises, actually."

[casciel]

"...I see." He's so weird. "And being you, you jumped at the chance to buy stuff." Again, she's not complaining.

[kage_himoto]

"Well, naturally. I have a dragon and a cat to keep happy. Avaricious species, you know." He's teasing, of course. "But you aren't getting your gifts till we find the pretty kitty, so I suggest you get that sexy little ass in gear, Mrs. Himoto."

[casciel]

"I see." And she will stand and make her way to Hyou's favorite napping spot.

He likes to nap in cat form.

[kage_himoto]

Kage chuckles, seeing him, and reaches to scritch his ears with slightly-heated fingers. "Hello, Pretty Kitty. Time to wake up. There are gifts and food to be had."

[hyoukitten]

It takes a moment. Hyou is stubborn, and enjoys sleeping.

Soon, though, he's arching his back and digging into the plush carpet. He doesn't change back immediately, instead purring questioningly.

He doesn't get eye-roll-y over the 'pretty kitty' as he is, actually, a pretty kitty right now.

Hyou will always be a pretty kitty to Kage.

"It's Valentine's Day, and I have gifts and plans, Kitten. Won't you change so you can join us?"

[hyoukitten]

And slowly, Hyou starts to change back. And of course, he's naked.

Oh well.

"What sort of plans?"

[kage_himoto]

Thankfully, they don't live in the kind of household where naked is a problem.

"Gifts first, Kitten. Then Plans."

When they're ready, he'll take one hand of each and lead them to his study. Inside, Grouped on the desk is a black-diamond bracelet, a shaving kit, and watch for Hyou. For Casciel is a silk dress with matching clutch, and shoes(in Dragon-Red instead of brown), and a diamond and ruby necklace set.

"I hope the two of you feel like getting dressed up.."

[casciel]

"...Not a problem," he says, and Casciel agrees readily.
