Wow, I'm feeling bloody moronic, I can only speak English, except for the occasional alien swear.

Latin, nice! All I know is Romanes enut domus ;O)

Well the T'sni is the language of my Mother's people, and their clan is located in Japan, so when I ran off, that was the first one I learned. Had to, to survive. It's what my Master taught me in and all that. So my early childhood teaching was all in T'sni, and all my proper schooling was in Japanese.

Then he died, and I found Sanctuary, which is in France, so I learned French.

And almost everyone has to speak at least a little English these days, or the damn Americans will blow your head off thinking you're just being difficult by speaking the language of whatever country they happen to be in that isn't America.

....You realize only one of those was a real word, right?

You mean those Monty Python people were jerking us around? How rude!

No, I did know, I was just seeing if Kage would get the joke.

All things considered I thought you'd guys speak ancient Greek..?

I have no idea what you're talking about, but only 'domus' is a word. It means 'house.' We can't even tell but 'enut' is supposed to be, unless it's a horrific mispelling of the word for 'they go', but since the subject is apparently 'house'....

And which ancient Greek did you think we spoke? Attic? Ionian? Doric? Koine?

...actually, we do speak koine, but tangled up with Latin.

Oh yeah, I always forget you guys aren't from the 21st century (don't ask me how!)

But for your benefit and Kage's this is what I'm talking about:

Well whatever Greek they spoke in Athens...but yeah languages aren't my thing.

Oh. So it was meant to be wrong. Gotcha.

Foreigners never know how to use the locative case right.

Athenians spoke Attic Greek.

It seems damn confusing...in English just stick an exclamation mark in there and it'll all turn out.

So wait when you guys first turned up in the Nexus you all spoke Latin? That must have been confusing as Hell.

We still do. Translation spell. It glitches out occasionally, but it generally works fine. We just hear everything you say so it makes sense.

Really? Niiiice! I thought only TARDISes could do that sort of thing.

Heh, what do I sound like speaking Latin? I hope my voice is still sexy as ever ;O)

Nearly everything is sexier in Latin.

Really?!

Da-yamn, maybe I should learn some...what's "I'm gonna sex you up" in Latin? (I'm sure Kage would like to know this too! ;O)

For the record, French has inherited that.
