I- I would hope that there's no alligators in swimming pools around here. But I suppose if someone wanted to keep one, then it's a good place.

[He dials back.]

It's not. It's most definitely not. Especially for the pool boy, you know!?

Sure it is. It's inconvenient to keep one in the bathtub. They can grow much too big and would just lay around.

Don't you think people shouldn't be keeping alligators in the first place?

I'd say yes, they shouldn't, but it's ultimately not up to me who keeps what as a pet.

I suppose you're right, but ... they're still dangerous!

Well, yes. They're alligators. And as such, are wild and unpredictable.

Heh. Why are you so interested in alligators anyway?

It's not so much that I'm interested in them as I was just making a comment.

I ... see. [Have a headtilt, blond dude.] So they have alligators where you're from then? Not something fantastic like dragons or whatever?

My world has alligators, yes. And crocodiles. Though they're not found in my country, unless they're in zoos. Dragons are...

...I guess technically there's dragons. But only a very small handful of people actually see them.

There ARE dragons!? Geez ... I'd be more worried about getting eaten by one of those than an alligator, if I were you.

They don't eat people. And besides. It's not as if they could actually harm me if they were violent.
