Wedding and Life!
I am married. The wedding was awesome. My sisters, cousins and Shaz's friends helped out sooo much. They did everything we asked of them. I'm happy we had them as part of our wedding. It is probably obvious, but we are not on a honeymoon right now. We will be going in mid September probably to Costa Rica or St. Lucia.
It is funny, but the one thing we didn't bother doing was booking a hotel room. So we did it on the actual wedding night but for Saturday night because it was soooo late and we were soooo tired. lol Also, I came home after a long time of celebration, looked at my cat children and said to them, "You are not little bastards anymore." lmao. So on our wedding nite, we chilled out, went through presents and cards. Saturday night we decided to stay in The Cincinnatian hotel. An epic hotel room btw. Highly recommend it if you have the bucks.
At present, I have to legally change my name. I decided to go with Karen R. Qaiser. I am following Philippine tradition by making my maiden name my middle name and of course Qaiser as my last name. Now I have the distinct pleasure of people fucking up my last name all the time. I will soon know how Shaz feels. lol Also I am beginning to work on my thesis again, probably graduating in Fall quarter due to my month long trip to india. Find a job and pay off some of my debt, and apply to ph.d programs in medical anthropology.
In the immediate future I am heading off to Dragoncon....waaaaah! Doctor Who here I come!
