War of Ages // FAQ: HOW TO PLAY
To play, you post in one of two communities; Main war_of_ages and Logs war_of_ages_log
Main war_of_ages: You play in first person style. There are a few ways: Video/Audio/Text/Action
Text; Will be like a journal style. You can keep things secret from others this way too.
Example: What a nice day today.
[Private; unhackable]
Maybe I'll take a walk and find my friend John Smith.
[/Private]
[Private to John Smith]
Want to go on a walk?
[/Private]
Action/Video; As if you're doing something;
Example: [walking along the street] Nice day today.
You can use whatever style action tag you like, such as *hey* -yo- [tee] {hee} and so on.
Audio/Voice; a type of recording that no one can see. Is done also in action style, and can be sent to other people like messaging.
Example: [a clear voice is heard, a cheerful tone] Nice day for a walk today.
[Voice to Jane Doe]
Want to go on a walk?
[/voice]
Logs war_of_ages_log: You play in third person narrative.
Example: He walked along the street and thought how nice the day was.
Usually better for detailed actions, and you can leave it open to other people to join too, or close it for fixed character playing.
There are occasions where logs will be in first person, such as communication device, or just preference.
Remember to tag your character's full name to the post you make [in both communities], it'll make it easier to look back at them later.
