Today I made soup! Potato soup to be exact! It was so easy! I've always thought making soup would be labour intensive and just not worth all the work but the recipe I was working off today was sooooooo easy! Just some chopping and throwing everything together into the pot and then BAM, soup. Okay, not so much BAM but it was nothing compared to the amount chopping I had envisioned soup making to be.
I think for my next soup attempt, I'll do a potato and leek. Or a cream of chicken soup! Yes, cream of chicken it will be! And what's perfect is that we've been having such great soup weather (rain, rain and more rain for a week and more rain for next week, too).
The World Cup is just days away! Bring on the late nights and ass crack early mornings! I had the perfect Socceroos icon uploaded for the 2006 world cup and now I can't find it. I guess I will have to make do with what I've got for making my football related posts.
