England vs TnT? England are lucky buggers. Damned lucky. And I really don't like that Crouch guy. I know the chances of T&T going anywhere further than the 3 group games are nil to none but in my little heart of hearts, I sure wished some crazy debacle happened that let them go further.
Brazil vs Croatia was a bunch of crock! My opinion is insignificant, but really, Croatia outplayed the Brazilians on so many levels. I sure as hell hope they play this craptasically when they go up against Australia tonight.
The Argentina vs Serbia-Montenegro was wow. SCG were outplayed by the Argentinians. It was magic watching those goals being scored.
And god good! Italy vs USA! That's....Dude, there just aren't any words. I didn't watch it myself, but waking up to the news that it was 1-1 was a lot like Simon in Jaynestown. Seriously, I really hope they replay this game later today so I can see how it ended up 1-1.
And later tonight, Australia vs Brazil. I really want Australia to come out in their gold and green kit, but they'll probably come rocking up in their navy uniform. I want a win but I'll be happy with a draw. I also want Brazil to play exactly the way they played with Croatia just to give Australia one up on them. So, up the Aussies and down with Brazil!
Wow, sometimes eljay fails spectacularly. I'm sure they were surprised by the number of No's to their new profile page, but really, deleting 45 pages of comments and then disabling them? And then claiming a user problem? Oh, eljay, you have much to learn when it comes to negative comments. At least you've restored the pages and commenting.
RL wise, life has been utterly stressful the past few days. Christ I love my family and still do even when we are going through a complete and utter meltdown. A small part of me is hating the situation right now, though. It's irrational hate, but christ! Could this have happened at a less opportune time when a large majority of us are doing exams, preparing for a wedding in 4 months time and all other kinds of important things? All I can do is keyboard smash and wait it out I guess.
And now it's back to studying, or not studying and more soccer related things.
