I've finished Chapter 26 of Hearts and Moons. After *thinks* more than a year.

I'm writing this with as few exclamation points as possible, in order to be as maturely pleased with myself as possible. But please imagine the entire post littered with the little things.

Thanks; I actually discovered, by going back to Chap. 25 and reviewing it, that I needed to get rid of a few mistakes in Chap. 28 (matching weapons to characters, and such; that's what happens when you take so bloody long between chapters that you forget specifics), but I'm already working on Chap. 27. Woo-hoo!

I can't imagine taking that long to write a fanfic. I think the longest I ever took was a year, give or take. My hat is really off to you for sticking with it for so long, especially since the show is so different now!

I had a couple of original fics that I gave up on halfway through, usually because I was a student and had to move, and for some weird reason, the physical re-location (plus having to focus energy on so many other things) caused whatever impetus I'd had to write the story in the first place to go right down the crapper. So I commend you for being able to hang onto your inspiration. : )
