So vacation was awesome. The workshops went great, and I even came back with some cash to put towards the color work on the tattoo. Parts of the garden have gone into overdrive, and I will be overrun with acorn squash and pumpkins. Last count was 15 acorn squash (not counting the 5 I have already harvested) and at least 8 pumpkins that I can see. One tried to grow through the fence and has a couple of dents in the side. We have 2 watermelons, almost a head of broccoli, lots of red lettuce, onions, garlic and shallots. The tomato plants have kinda slowed down, but with all of the stuff comming from the parents house, I don't think that we'll need many more than we have. We have decided that we are going to landscape the front yard next year with rocks, herbs, cherry bushes and other assorted plants thus ending our dependence on a lawnmower. Now all we need to do is go find some nice big rocks and see how much they want to drop them off in our front yard. Can't imagine it being to terribly expensive seeing how we live less than a mile from the rock yard.
