(no subject)
So here we are. We have to go back to Iowa this weekend for a funeral. This is the second one this year. I will be happy when everyone quits dying for awhile. Because this sucks. I am tired of having to deal with death. This one, while not unexpected is just interesting. They died one year apart to the day. That's dedication. Still doesn't make the 12 hour drive go any quicker.
On a brighter note, I have most of my garden planted. Right now all I need is potting soil, so I can plant the potatoes. Then I am done until mid May when I get my seedlings fron the city. I have had to rearrange my plans and I will end up putting my melon plants in my front yard. That way I don't have to mow any grass. I will just have to bribe the squirrels so they leave the veggies alone.
