From now until December somethingth I will have no time for anything but reading, writing, attending classes and teaching. But before my academic solitary confinement really begins I am very excited about Liz's and my trip to California on Thursday. I can't wait to meet chitinous and bobamster and to see epilady and chestertodd again! It is going to be so much fun!

All looks good from where I sit. Unfortunately, E can't visit, but regardless she wouldn't have arrived then anyway. So come! How exciting. I will have a horrid all-day meeting on Fri 7th so I hope you'll be prepared to let your hair down w/me that night.

I guess, technically, that we should tell K of this plan. I just e-mailed her.
