"Enemy Mine" was a good episode. It was nice to see Jack and Daniel coming up against a familiar conflict--what the military wants vs. what Daniel wants/thinks is right--and react to it a different way. First, with Jack supporting Daniel's position without being beaten over the head with the fact that Daniel was right, and second, with Daniel not taking it personally when Jack didn't/couldn't make things work the way Daniel wanted them to work. Growth, people! Friendship! 'Twas nice. Also, with the Ironshirt being ultimately the more peaceful and civilized of the two leaders, and then the colonel not being a flat character in the end--while I'm pretty sure we've done this plot before, too, at least they took it to new places in character development. Am v. happy now.
In other news, I have 11 stories I need to be working on immediately, plus others I need to get around to someday. I have a desire to write. I have no words. This sucks.
