It's not the heat, it's the humidity...and the heat

It's a conspiracy. Last year, I had a wedding followed by a cookout in my back yard for family/wedding party. Temp: first 100 degree day of the year.

This year, Will's graduation is Saturday morning, followed by a cookout for family/friends. Forecasted temp: 101--first 100+ (!!!) degree day of the year.

Dear Texas,

You're hot. I get that. You often make up for it by not burying us under snow in the winter, so it all works out.

However, I am not pleased with this "cooking the humans while they cook the food" thing you've got going on. Two years in a row, man. Come on, cut us a break, okay?
