In the interest of fannish scholarship and my closet space...
This is a long shot, but I figure it's worth a try.
In amongst the zines I've been selling, I found roughly 5-10 Simon and Simon letterzines. For those of you who don't know, a letterzine was the low-tech version of a mailing list. People would write letters analyzing the show, the characters, trends in fandom, etc. They'd send the letters in to the zine editor, who would publish them and send them out to whoever subscribed to the zine. Subscribers would read the zine, then write letters back responding to the other letters. Wash, rinse, repeat. (It was a very *slow* low-tech mailing list.)
Since there aren't any stories, I can't see anyone but a true die-hard S&S fan wanting them--unless it was someone doing some sort of research/study/whatever of either fannish history or fannish communication or how many fandoms have spent time complaining about the feminization/infantilization of the fandom's favorite woobie and/or why their favorite woobie didn't get to be abused as much as the other guy. So, basically, if you know anyone in those categories, for the love of my closet space*, please send them to me!
*Yes, I could just throw them away, but I really hate to. It seems both disrespectful and wasteful. And now you know why I keep whining about the high levels of stuff in my house. I can't throw anything away!
PS: I also have three issues of The Cascade Times, a Sentinel fan club newsletter, if anyone wants them to be nostalgic about. I'd just want the cost of shipping on these. Or I'll toss 'em in free if you'll just please buy some of the Sentinel zines mentioned below. I would also toss the letterzines in free with the purchase of the S&S zines if no one needed them for scholarship.
PPS: And let's not forget several gen Sentinel zines, and several gen Simon and Simon zines, and a couple of Angel zines, a couple of Star Trek zines, and a few random other ones. $3/zine plus shipping and handling. Somebody somewhere's got to want them! The list is here.
