Things I have learned this year: do not hold a collection drive for anything that's heavy when mailed, esp. if mailing to another state. Also, cardboard boxes are expensive.
Does anyone else's car insurance jump roughly $20/month every six months, or is it just me? I haven't had any accidents or claims, but every time it renews, it goes up. It's killing my budget. (side note--I have comprehensive b/c I'm still paying on the car. Maybe that's a factor. Also, Texas is a state that requires insurance, so getting rid of it isn't an option.)
Somehow we have both dogs in the house and no one is getting attacked. Granted, they're in different rooms, but . . . I'll take what I can get.
