I had a revelation today: I was in Payless looking at shoes and tried on this pair that had probably a 1-1 1/2 inch square-ish heel. The pain in my lower back and running down my calves eased *immediately*. Sadly, they had them in 8, not 8 1/2, and I could tell that they would pinch my feet. I have wide feet anyway, so finding shoes is a pain.
Anyone have any suggestions for semi-dressy shoes with a bit of a heel that have tons of support for someone who's on their feet on hard floors most of the day?
In other dilemmas, my paid account is expiring in three days. I don't know if I'm going to renew it or not. Please note, this is not an unsubtle hint for someone to pay for it for me. It's a pondering of the future of LJ, the future of fandom on LJ, and whether or not I want to support all of the above. I guess I have a few days to think about it.
