Y'know how you have crazy anxiety dreams? Well, maybe you don't, but I do. Like dreaming that the cats had thrown up all over the Christmas stockings or that I suddenly had more bills than income. My brain is weird.

Sounds like you have a good holiday (despite the anxiety dreams & the two movies not coming yet)! Hope the rest of your time off goes as well!

I'm waiting for a package from DD at the moment too, so it's nice to know it's probably a store-wide slowness, rather than a lost package at my end.

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas, even with Deep Discount playing Scrooge. Same happened here. My order (split up)didn't arrive until the day after Christmas and a couple of days after that. And I ordered it on the 5th of December. Those BOGO sales take ages to fill/send thanks to everybody taking advantage of the good deals.

My sister *did* order me both seasons of Magnificent 7 which didn't arrive at her house until the end of last week. So I got to open a present with an index card telling me what she had bought. Now I've got to wait a bit longer until she actually has time to get to a post office plus the actual time it'll take to mail here. So I'm looking at a week to two weeks probably. I so badly want to rip open the package and start watching. Thank goodness I haven't finished watching my Charlie Chan movies yet. :)

Doctor's office, even for check ups not so fun, naps are much more so.

ps. Normally I do get my Deep Discount packages within 7 days, or 5-7 days, rarely the whole 10. Unless it's a BOGO sale. They seem to have to wait for more stock to come in as I seem to have a lot of the same taste for choosing certain dvds as a lot of other people. And with bunches more people taking advantage of those kinds of sales they have so many orders to process that the process time is way slowed down. And the holiday mail clogging up the postal service pipeline doesn't help any.

Have patience, though I know it is hard, they will arrive sooner or most likely *snerk* later.

Usually my "crazy anxiety dreams" are the same one I've had my whole life where I'm suddenly free falling off a cliff hurtling toward the ground, but I wake up before I hit the dirt. Though there was one I've ony had twice in my life that was 'weird'. I've had it once as a child and once as an adult. Everything in that dreamworld was sepia toned and all the people I encountered were frozen in place like statues. Sounds like something out of a Twilight Zone episode, but I'd never seen any when I first had that dream. Weird ( ... )
