Crowned, only not
Is today Monday or Tuesday? I just watched NCIS and my student teacher didn't come today, so it must be Tuesday. But not Friday, which is unfortunate because not having to work for the rest of the week would be fabulous.
Went to the dentist today and didn't get a crown because I'm still having sensitivity in that tooth. So I get to go back right after Christmas. Plus side is that I now have time to save up and don't have to worry about using the credit card. Minus side is that I now have to have my yearly physical, complete with too much intimacy with my doctor, *and* yet another visit to the dentist all on my Christmas break. *sigh*
I have a headache.
Today was just one of those days . . . we had two parent conferences, and my tough-but-likeable class just wasn't behaving, plus the Spanish interpreter was talking to several of the ESL kids fairly loudly, meaning that autistic kid #1 was getting upset and there wasn't much I could do about shutting up the other kids because of all the chatter . . . talk about feeling like a complete incompetent. I need to get mean, but I hate that I have to if I want kids to behave. I am much more of a "let's all work together"-type, which in my mind means that we all try to *learn*. Argh. I could rant forever, but hello, headache.
Anybody want to make my life more interesting?
