Oh, well. It was worth a shot, and a really fun ride. It would have worked out better had my laptop NOT died last week, and had I not had to work double and even triple overtime all month. :-/
BUt I did accomplish thus:
I learned a lot about myself as a writer.
I learned my muse cannot really be tamed...let him run wild and see what happens. LOL
I learned that I need to focus more on certain areas...
and that word count does not necessarily matter (weather that means participating in nano in the futre or not , I don't know...)
My main character Rocked, and I owed it to her to come up with a good story regardless or word lenght. ANd, I believe that I accomplished that.
YAY!
It was a great ride. Whenever i got to write, I enjoyed it.
and you only lose if you don't try, and/or if you give up prematurely.
I expanded a not-so-good short story into a good novella, and that was a feat in itself. SO in that respect, I won.
