The December Update
So, I'm truly on the one-post-a-month plan. Happy Holidays, everybody!
I am:
still subbing as an assistant at the local library system
still interviewing for librarian positions around the state
still writing my future world-famous novels
I have:
gained 30 pounds since returning from the UK (seriously!!! But luckily it's mostly gone to my chest. I don't know why, but thank you thank you thank you God and it's past time for the exercise)
eaten about a ton of my mom's homemade candy and Christmas cookies (thus explaining above)
chopped the first 76 pages off my future world-famous novel (at least it's feeling more trim)
For Christmas, I got my dream present: an electric kettle. Now I can have tea anytime just like in the UK, instead of having to heat water in the microwave. Also, my bro gave me Chrono Trigger for the DS and it has SUCKED AWAY EIGHT HOURS OF MY LIFE already. I think I'm only in chapter four. I had to get enough gold for the best swords and equipment!!! I haven't even cracked his copy of Lego Star Wars yet. In other news, my manga interests have returned and I am burning through the shoujou series at my local libraries. I finished Hana-Kimi tonight and will read Her Majesty's Dog and Peach Girl as soon as volumes 3 and 2 arrive in each (respectively).
