Weekend
So- it has been quiet and a little sad for me since my daughter moved to Australia. We had just gotten back in touch and it was nice to have her back for a few months. We are so alike, we end up being more like sisters than mom and daughter. Anyway, life gets so busy and work gets so stressful too that overall I was feeling a bit down. My husband Dwain is a pretty great guy anyway. But he went out of his way to make sure I had a nice Saturday of sleeping late, going to the movies and then hearing a free outdoor show by the Alabama Blues Brothers last night. I got to treat myself with an ice cream cone too. Oh and I almost forgot, he bought me a CD ROM with all the Star Trek movie comic books on it, came with a bonus of the Marvel comics on it too! It was a great day. Hope anyone reading this also has some nice Saturdays coming your way!
