long overdue mp3 post, and memes

Typical Becca to throw memes and mp3s into one post because she's too lazy to put them into two separate ones. Thank god for the lj-cut tag, that's all I have to say. :P

a meme a day keeps boredom at bay )

I love your mp3 posts, and I'm so glad to see you flitting around LJ again; it's been too quiet without you ;)

Aww, it's sweet of you to say so. ^_^ I remember there were a few months where you were really busy and not so active here either. Guess we trade off, ne? :P

I hope you like those tracks--some of them are more from the goth side of the spectrum, but I tend to like them when I'm in a particular mood. I'm also a sucker for captivating melody lines, which is usually why Theatre of Tragedy has two tracks that are permanently on my playlist (that particular album is much more slow and dark than their later pop-y stuff, although their newest album sounds more techno with some of that dark melody, so it ought to be interesting).

Thanks so much for the two WHR tracks--I just got all of the WHR OST2 from my brother this afternoon, so I'll check them against the tracks he sent, and if they don't match up, then we know they're from OST 1, and I can look up the titles online somewhere. Let me know if you'd like me to post some more tracks from OST2, now that I have it. ^_^

Thanks also for the anime recs--I've been getting quite a few of them lately, so there will be a lot to choose from, which is definitely happy. It's good to have choices narrowed down to something like 6 or 7, as opposed to kind of just guessing from the synopses on the backs of DVDs in the rental shop. :P

I've even heard of Chrno Crusade, and the whole time I'd been thinking it was a game... *spoken by the girl who played Chrono Trigger for the first time on her best friend's Super Famicon back in the mid-90s before they released it here, and asking said friend what everything meant since it was all in Japanese. Her answer was always along the lines of "It's a place." "It's a guy... with long hair." Thanks, Tomoko.* Hee hee.
