Talking about books...
One of the girls at the school that I work at was obsessed with Twilight. Absolutely obsessed. That is all she would talk about, and other kids starting to make fun of her for it. So, knowing that she loves to read I starting giving her books. It started with Libby Bray's books which she loved. I then gave her a couple of other books to read. Last week I gave her Jane Austin's Pride & Prejudice. Today I gave her Emma. I must say, I am little bit proud of getting her away from Twilight. We had a whole conversation today and not one mention about Twilight, the movie or how dreamy vampires are. Don't get me wrong, I am all for Vampires -- but there are other books out there :)
