third wheel
it really rather sucks when a friend "comes to visit you" and they are like, oh I am sooo happy to get to see you and I am bring my boyfriend/girlfriend/betrothen/newspouse with me. Because then instead of being able to see your friend you get sucked into this weird tagging along with or being the driver for this couple.
So much of the time it ends up just making me feel empty unhappy and sometimes resentful of the friend, I end up going home and crying and morning what I have not achieved
but at the same time, I can't be like, I don’t wanna meet this person very imported to you, and I can't be like, oh you’re my friend but I don’t want to see you, that isn't fair.
Though this isn’t a 100% rule, because sometimes it isn’t like that, you see your friend and you get to hang out with special some one but your not a third wheel. And it is cool, or sometimes I am really really excited in seeing the other boyfriend/girlfriend/betrothed/spouse/longtime partner. It seams to be very dependant on the couple’s personalty.
If they are like, oh I adore my sweetie but I tis okay that we arnt lovey dovey right now, it works out. But not if there two lovley dovy or if there creepily not at all or if there possive or...
