A good day
I've had a really nice day today. Did a few things around the house in the morning, then off to Kazzia's for sewing goodness. I brought lunch: we had lovely soft lebanese bread for roast chicken semmichs, some marinated feta and sundried tomatos and apricots for dessert. Yum!
Alfar was out the front making a seeming forest of gauntlets with AJ. K and I stayed inside and inspired each other to do STUFF! Two underdresses sewed up and ready to be hemmed for K, two apron dresses mostly ready, another cut out and overlocked (big thanks went to deense, the beast was a marvel). That will need to be handsewn from here on. Cotehardie getting there for me, plus reworking of the viking coat (for more details, see http://kaedhlin.blogspot.com/).
It was really lovely to catch up with K, and some gossip, and just hang out with a friend and our mutual interest.
Tomorrow is a date with the bank, and another step towards enormous debt.
