Joey and I went to
Fred Meyer this morning to pick up a few items. There were only two checklanes open, and we chose to go to the "family friendly" lane.
I was told that "family friendly" means "no magazines" - because besides the copious amounts of candy and gum that were on display on BOTH sides of the checklane, there were, easily within a child's reach:
- razors
- lighters
- ibuprofin in a small tube (not child-proofed)
- super glue
The clerk was less than impressed by my statement that this was NOT family-friendly, and rolled her eyes as she handed me a "feedback" form. I will DEFINITELY be filling it out and mailing it to them.
