This may be the best set of Christmas comics ever . . . mainly because of Santa's face in the third one.
Christmas morning was awesome. I had made cinnamon bread for breakfast, and we opened presents at the Wallaces. I got Rock Band 2 and Latin Harrius Potterus, amongst other things. <3
Christmas afternoon was less so. We had lunch at Phil's grandparents' house, where the food is always terrible and the company worse. Nothing like walking into a room and saying "Merry Christmas" only to have everyone turn to look at you and then go back to their conversations without replying!
Christmas evening has been lazy. I've cuddled with Hobbes and watched Phil play Assassin's Creed 2 mostly.
Still, Phil and I had our main celebration on Christmas Eve. I made us maple-glazed, bacon-wrapped turkey with all the trimmings, we opened our presents to each other, and then we snuggled on the sofa and watched The Hangover.
Phil got me Uncharted 2 (which I've wanted for MONTHS), A Knight's Tale on Blu-Ray (which is one of my favorite movies of all time), and a book about the Making of Blade Runner (which is fabulous). I got him the second Ratchet and Clank Future game, The Hangover, Transmetropolitan 3, and Pratchett's Guards, Guards. My parents got me a Cuttlebug (yay) and Zombie Fluxx, and they got Phil Inglourious Basterds and District 9. They got Miss Hobbes a chirping bird toy!
So, that's all the Christmas news. It's been a good one for the most part.
