Health related grumbling .... and a fannish thing
After I got my 2nd covid shot, I started experiencing dry mouth and dry eyes. (My theory is I had a huge immune flare because of my reaction to that shot that triggered something else, my PCP thinks it might be a co-incidence.)
Over the last 5 weeks, I have tried all the things you can do at home to remedy the situation and they do not help, or they do not help enough.
I typed it all up and went to see my PCP and so now, we are testing me for two things:
1) Have I suddenly gone diabetic?
2) Have I developed an additional auto-immune condition, Sjogren's Syndrome?
At any rate, I have a fasting blood draw scheduled for tomorrow.
