Job & Lucas Hood BFFs
One of the things I love about this friendship is:
1) Really really straight and quite masculine Lucas Hood is perfectly fine with gay drag queen Job calling him "Baby".
2) Gay drag queen Job is comfortable in calling straight masculine guy Lucas Hood, "Baby".
Not that he's by any means Captain America, and Banshee has some fridgy issues, but Lucas Hood's confidence in his masculinity & self is refreshingly non-toxic.
He is supremely unconcerned what anybody else thinks about him and Job and if you don't get that? Well ...
And while Job is sometimes very catty (and we can argue that this is stereotyping -- I see it more as he's learned to throw the first punch with words, and often it's devastatingly effective), he's not afraid, and he doesn't apologize for who he is or anything he does. And if his withering put-down isn't enough? Well, he can back it by giving you an asswhuppin' supreme.
