I'm not going to disagree with anything said in this meta about the lack of LGB characters in the Drizzt books. I'm just going to say that it's brought back giggle-snort inducing memories of how Jarlaxle had the slashiest relationship that ever sashayed its pimp-hatted way across the page with Artemis Entreri, whom he has canonically declared his muse, and, also, taught to play the flute.

Seriously, Wickless in the Nether is a classic example of "It's only subtext when it's subtle."
