I'm missing a few facts here ...

So, I understand from this post that a repugnant story has been written and posted at AO3 and that one of the tags to help people find the story is itself a nasty racial slur loaded term in this context.

I also understand that some people are less than pleased with the AO3's handling of the incident.

What I don't know is what people have asked the AO3 to do about this story. So if somebody could fill me in, I'd be much obliged.
