I donated blood at BayCon and last week got a nice letter from the Stanford Blood Bank. My cholesterol is below 190 (groovy) and my blood type is AB+.
This is the first time I've ever known my blood type. The need to know has never come up and I figured that if I was one of the rarer types, someone would have told me by now. According to a
Japanese blood type personality site I found: "Type AB's are the split personalities of the blood groups. They can be both outgoing and shy, confident and timid. While responsible, too much responsibility will cause a problem. They are trustworthy and like to help others."
I'm also compatible with all the other types. So there we go.
